Consultation

Effective Joint Health and Safety Committees

Many JHSCs struggle with their identity and role within the workplace. Complete Safety Resources (CSRinc.) will determine the actual functional efficiency of the JHSC through survey and audit tooling. We will then work within the company’s management system to provide the JHSC with the guidance needed to ensure an effective and responsible JHSC.

Safety Management or Loss Control Systems

It has been said that minimizing loss is as important as maximizing profit. CSRinc. provides both targeted safety consultation and complete “turn-key” systems depending on the needs of client.

Safety Program Evaluation and Scoring (WSIB’s Workwell Audit Protocol)

CSRinc. will provide a numbered rating that will reveal just how comprehensive your health and safety program is. CSRinc.’s audit and report will also provide suggested recommendations for improving your health and safety program. See how your company’s health and safety program measures up to WSIB’s standards!

Workplace Hazard Assessments or Job Hazard Analysis

Identifies specific areas/activities of concern and provides a list of hazards, quantifies the nature of the risk (i.e. low medium or high) and provides suggested control measures to mitigate over-exposure to the hazard.

Safe Work Procedures

We will develop comprehensive safety policies and procedures specific to your golf course operation that will compliment your existing health and safety program.

WSIB Claims Management Consultation

Consultation in developing and maintaining a golf course’s early and safe return to work program. Provides assistance to human resource and personnel areas that deal with time consuming claims management.

WSIB Part I Certification

The law in Ontario [Occupational Health and Safety Act - Section 9 (12)] requires that all workplaces that regularly employ 20 or more workers must have a health and safety committee and at least one management and one worker representative of that committee must receive “certification” by Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) standards.

We provide a two-day workshop which targets the main objectives of the certification program while providing an adult learning environment which provides our participants with a high level of knowledge retention. At the end of the workshop, students feel confident writing the certification exam.

Hygiene and Environmental Monitoring

Our Industrial Hygiene and Environmental monitoring specialists will conduct testing on-site in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards. Our report will provide testing results from an accredited laboratory (if necessary) and will also include recommendations to reduce worker’s exposure to golf course related health hazards.

Qualitative Fit Testing for Respirator Use
Noise Levels (both area and personal)
Indoor Air Quality
Carbon Monoxide
Water Quality (both organic and inorganic)
Soil Samples

Mould (identification and/or qualification)

Risk Management

There may be areas that affect the liability of a golf course in terms of the health and safety of its workers, members and contracted work. We will help the course recognize areas where it’s vulnerable to loss and provide a workable solution to help mitigate those risks.�
